This integrative approach — combining all four disciplines — is offered
by only a handful of veterinary institutions worldwide.
That option is now available in Okinawa.

Tailored to each animal's unique constitution and condition,
we go beyond a single medical tradition to propose
treatment plans that minimize burden and maximize wellbeing.

Integrative Care, Made to Order

Every pet is different — so treatment should be too.
Even with the same diagnosis, the best approach depends on constitution, age, environment, and stress. We combine lab data, intake history, and TCM's Four Examinations to build a care plan designed for your pet alone.

Counseling That Starts With Constitution

TCM's Four Examinations (look, listen, ask, palpate) combined with blood and mineral testing give a multi-angle view of your pet's constitution — carefully unpacking why their current condition has developed.

Treats & Food Matched to Constitution

Treat selection is part of treatment. We advise on ingredients, food, and treats suited to patterns such as qi deficiency, blood deficiency, or yin deficiency — so daily care supports constitutional balance.

Western, Eastern & Nutritional Therapy Combined

Not bound to one tradition — we combine herbs, acupuncture, chiropractic, orthomolecular nutrition, regenerative medicine, and more, choosing the least burdensome path for each pet.

Ongoing Follow-Up

Support that doesn't end in one visit. We review progress together and adjust the plan flexibly — answering your family's concerns with care along the way.

An Alternative to Heavy Medication

"Is staying on the same medication really the right choice?"
We're here to help you explore your options.

A multi-perspective approach combining herbal medicine, Homotoxicology, and nutritional consultation. We work together to find what is best for your pet.

TCM: Traditional Chinese Medicine
Herbs × Acupuncture × Chiropractic / Fascia therapy

The fact that treatments are performed by a licensed veterinarian makes a decisive difference in animal therapy. Understanding skeletal structure, fascia, and neurological systems, we assess both "structural alignment" and "qi flow" for safer, evidence-based treatments.

01

Herbs

Based on TCM's Four Examinations (Shi Zhen), we prescribe herbal formulas tailored to each animal's constitution and condition. Covers chronic disease, immunity, digestion, skin, and more.

TCM Medical Questionnaire →
02

Acupuncture

Stimulating meridians to regulate the nervous, immune, and autonomic systems. Effective for age-related mobility issues, cardiovascular disease, tracheal collapse, and chronic pain.

03

Chiropractic / Fascia therapy

Veterinarian-performed chiropractic based on skeletal, fascial, and neurological knowledge. Fascia therapy corrects structural imbalances to support the body's natural healing ability.

04

Home Care Guidance

To maintain the benefits of treatment in daily life, we provide guidance on home massage, dietary management, and lifestyle improvements.

"They're just getting old — there's nothing we can do."
We disagree.

We support "the life your pet deserves" alongside the family. Many age-related changes have identifiable causes and solutions.

We propose customized care plans combining herbal medicine, acupuncture, and nutritional therapy.

Signs to Watch For

  • Increased nighttime vocalization or wandering
  • Sudden irritability or aggression
  • Sensitivity to sounds or touch
  • Reluctance to be held or picked up
  • Weakness or unsteadiness in the legs
  • Changes in appetite or weight

What is Animal Communication?

Animal communication is a heart-centered practice that seeks to connect with an animal's thoughts, emotions, and experiences beyond verbal language. It may offer insight into behavioral changes, emotional concerns, life transitions, relationships, or questions you would like to ask your companion.

These sessions are not intended to replace veterinary diagnosis or treatment, but rather to complement a deeper understanding of your animal as an individual.

Preparation

What to Prepare

  • Pet's name, species, gender, and age
  • Your name as recognized by your pet (e.g. "Mom", "Dad", a nickname)
  • A recent photo of your pet
  • Up to 2 questions + a brief description of the situation

Please provide context along with your questions. A one-line question alone may make it difficult for your pet to respond accurately.

About the Session

How It Works

Messages are conveyed as received — sometimes as words, sometimes as images or emotions. When perception differs from the owner's, the closest interpretation will be shared within the bounds of what can be reasonably inferred.

Sessions proceed with the animal's consent. If resistance is observed, the question may be modified accordingly.

Not available: Questions about favorites/dislikes rankings, or matters related to life and death.

K

I had a session about the relationship between my resident cat and a new kitten. I was amazed — things I hadn't mentioned at all were brought up accurately. It was about something quite specific that I had kept private. I will definitely come back.

M

Hearing my dog's feelings made me so happy. I was reminded to cherish this little one and help them live their best life. Thank you so much.

Just as you said — Tecchan absolutely loves vegetables! The conversation about whether the food was tasty or not made me laugh! Thank you so much again.

N

You shared my late dog's state so gently, and helped ease my loneliness. I will keep connecting with them just as I did when they were alive. My heart feels so much lighter. Thank you truly.

I've had readings for my late dog from many people, but this felt the most real. I'd love to come back — and your warmth as a person made all the difference.

It's still so recent, and I'm still in pieces — but if my pet felt even a little happiness each day, that means everything. I hope we'll meet again. Thank you.

My very bossy cat… after following your advice, they calmed down surprisingly quickly! Your readings are always spot-on and easy to understand. Thank you for responding so quickly.

Testimonials

Feedback from clients who have visited our clinic.

My pet had been on so many medications for a chronic condition — on bad days, there were more pills than food. OHANA Vet explained every change happening in the body so clearly. All the symptoms that kept appearing one after another finally made sense. She listened to how I wanted to care for my pet and gave very specific, practical guidance: what's needed, what isn't, what to do, what to avoid, and what to keep watching. I've been to so many clinics over so many years — no one has ever been this thorough. I am so glad I found OHANA Vet.

My dog had been on painkillers for years for joint pain, and had developed incontinence and then paralysis from additional medications. I was terrified about being prescribed even more drugs, so I came here for a second opinion. The doctor reviewed all past blood results, identified the causes, and gradually replaced medications with herbal and low-side-effect alternatives. Within two weeks, the incontinence resolved. Now the unsteadiness is gone too. I had truly lost hope — seeing my dog healthy again fills me with joy. So glad I reached out.

The regular tests at our usual vet couldn't show us what was really going on. Here, we learned about imbalances in the body and mineral levels, and received an explanation from an TCM perspective too — it all made so much sense. Following the advice, we adjusted diet and added the right care, and my dog has stopped being so irritable. Very helpful.

One morning my senior dog suddenly couldn't walk — struggling to get up and falling back down. We came in worried it might be neurological, possibly involving intracranial pressure. After the first treatment, she walked out on her own. At another clinic, I think we would have been sent through endless tests and medications. She still enjoys her daily walks. Thank you so much.
